So today, I am here as a friendly reminder. Don't put off signing up for these payments for your family. Every bit helps.
Are you eligible for any of the following? Some deadlines close Term 1, so don’t miss out.
Nationwide
AIC Payments – Distance Education Allowance: Registered homeschoolers in isolated conditions (geographical or health) can apply anytime for the 2025 rate of $5,169 per year.
Queensland
Textbook Resource Allowance: $160 per student (Years 7-10) and $348 per student (Years 11-12) due 3 April 2025.
FairPlay Vouchers: Up to $200 for sport and recreation (Next round opens 1 July 2024).
SwimStart Vouchers: Up to $150 for swimming lessons (Next round opens 30 May 2025). For younger siblings aged 0-4.
New South Wales
Active & Creative Kids Voucher: $50 per child, available twice a year for sports, creative, and cultural activities.
South Australia
Sports Voucher Plus: 2 x $100 vouchers per year for sport, recreation, and music (Children born 2010-2020).
Western Australia
KidSport: Up to $500 per year for approved sports clubs (for concession card holders).
Education Program Allowance (part of the Secondary Assistance Scheme - SAS): $235 per student, applications due 11 April 2025 (Term 1 only).
Northern Territory
Back to School Payment Scheme: $200 voucher per student for educational goods and services, available in Term 1 for students enrolled in an NT school or registered for home-schooling.
Tasmania
Ticket to Play: 2 x $100 vouchers for club memberships (for eligible families). Applications open 4 July 2024 – 30 May 2025.
