About HERRD Kids. Our Mission…

Why HERRD Kids exists

Many homeschooling families across Australia don’t have access to workshops, clubs, or events their children would love. HERRD Kids provides learning, connection, and opportunity — making it possible for every child to join live online experiences and meet like-minded peers, no matter where they live.

We focus on supporting regional and rural families, while welcoming all Australian homeschoolers. Our goal is simple: to make learning engaging, fun, and accessible for everyone.

How HERRD Kids Works…

Inside HERRD Kids, your child will enjoy:

  • Live Workshops & Clubs: From science and coding to art and literacy.

  • Orientation & Catch-Up Weeks: Start confident and never miss a session.

  • Exclusive Events: Experiences families would struggle to organise on their own.

  • Supportive Community: Meet peers across Australia and grow together.

All designed to make home learning exciting, social, and stress-free.

Homeschool Hotline

Homeschooling is wonderful — but it’s also a big commitment for the whole family. Sometimes you just need a little extra support and guidance along the way.

I love education and I love learning alongside my children. We’ve found the freedom of home education empowering and full of adventure.

Every family is different, but we all share the same hope — to see our children grow and thrive within the beautiful environments of our homes.

Homeschool Hotline exists to help parents get the most out of their home education journey — whether you’re just beginning or ready to take the next step.

I’m so glad you’re here.

Our story

Have you heard that song by Fleetwood Mac, Everywhere? You know the line, I want to be with you everywhere. That is my homeschool anthem.

Ok so, full transparency, I don’t always want to be everywhere with my kids. But when it comes to learning I do love to be there with my kids.

I am a complete nerd about it, and I have a few super powers that takes our education to fantastic levels.

We started our homeschool journey in Brisbane over 8 years ago. Then when we started moving around for my husband’s work. Today we live in rural Queensland and home education has only become more valuable.

Now I have 2 homeschool graduates and 2 teens homeschooling through their high school years.
